I agree, you don't need but 35 HP tractor to rake with and no cab and definitely no four wheel drive! I don't know why everyone thinks they need a four wheel drive tractor to put up hay with, it's non sense 💯👍😎🤠

Your like all the rest of us and running behind, that hay is getting way mature so the price has to be cheaper on the square bales cuz the protein goes down every day... It is already July 🤦 all this hay should of been put up way before July and even June 👍😎🤠

Are you selling your straw square bales? Since this stupid inflation straw is worth $8 on up! In reality it's worth only $4 or less 🤔

Why do use such big / high hp tractors to rake Why don’t you use a small tractor for raking lot less fuel less expensive and keep hrs off your expensive large tractors

I don`t know how You and Jason handle The Workload you both do !! I can remember living and working on our 120 acre farm , taking care of Our Milk Cows , feeding chickens and gathering their eggs , feeding the pigs we had , and working the fields we planted and putting up hay for the animals !! It was A Never Ending job and at times overwhelming !!! I stayed with it until I got married and took a job in The City !!! When us 3 oldest kids moved away from The Farm , Dad couldn`t take care of it anymore so they sold it and moved into The City like we had !!!! I look back and remember The Good Times we had , and The Rewards we Reaped from Our Labor !!!! My Older brother and I used to work for several farmers when they put up hay during our Summer Vacation from School and got paid for our work !!! The 3 oldest kids in our family were in 4H and used to show our Beef Cattle at The County Fair , and it was someting we Looked Forward to every year !!!! Those were The Days !!!!!!!

I have been baling loads of small bales, only thing with straw. I always had the issue if a axial combine left the straw it was like chopped up. Cut small. Wasnt ideal for small bales, came out like solid bricks. Also the baler tension couldnt hold up sometimes. But yeah realy realy lovely work baling small squares!

Kayla, show us some of the behind the scenes too. We all know that working for a living impacts the rest of our lives. Love to see the 4th of July parade and prep for the farm show. I remember the FFA sheep shows and the work required. Don't worry about a 3 videos a week. And a 14 min video like today is great. Or a 20 min vid when appropriate. Show us the breadth and depth of the problems of a farmer, wife, and mother is the key deliverable. We get to see it, relive our own memories, and see how you handle these challenges.

during harvest have a cleaning service in once a week. cost of doing business - so a write off also. as soon as it's on the balance sheet it'll be recognized.
